Chef Micah

Meet Our Chef

Micah Wakefield grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho. At 17, she joined the Navy as a hospital corpsman, gaining firsthand experience in healthcare. After completing her service, Micah used her passion for service in a new way, swapping her scrubs for chef whites at Le Cordon Bleu in Seattle.

Today, Micah blends both worlds together in culinary at our senior living community! Here she cultivates a unique dining experience based in connection and, of course, delicious food.

Outside the kitchen, Micah loves skiing, spending time outdoors, and experimenting with new recipes at home, enjoyed by her husband and dog.

Micah brings an elevated culinary experience to our assisted living community, and we’re thrilled to have her in our kitchen serving seniors.
